Cosmetic tests
One of the principal obligations of Responsible person is to guarantee the safety of a cosmetic product for human health. (Art. 3 and 4 Reg. CE 1223/2009 about the security of the cosmetic product). As well as ensure the product’s security, the current legislation establish that the product’s effectiveness shall be tested by functions tests. Depending on the results of laboratory tests, it will be possible to insert established claims or statement on the labels.

- EN 1040 – Chemical and antiseptic disinfectants – Quantitative suspension test for evaluation of the basic bactericidal activity of chemical and antiseptic disinfectants.
- EN 1275 Chemical and antiseptic disinfectants – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of the basic fungicidal or fermentative activity of chemical and antiseptic disinfectants.
- EN 1500 – Chemical and antiseptic disinfectants – Hygienic hand treatment for friction – on 18/20 volunteers.

- EN 14561 Chemical and antiseptic disinfectants – Quantitative test with germ carrier for the evaluation of bactericidal activity for instruments used in the medical area.
- EN 16437 Chemical and antiseptic disinfectants – Quantitative surface test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of chemical and antiseptic disinfectants used in the veterinary area on porous surfaces without mechanical action.
- EN 16438 Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics – Quantitative surface test for evaluating the fungicidal or yeasticidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics in the veterinary area on non-porous surfaces without mechanical action.
